For this renovation of a south Minneapolis front hill we used 5 different kinds of stone and large, custom fabricated corten steel planters.
The goal was to retain the hill without the look of a single imposing wall.
The design was meant to be symmetrical while still incorporating variations of shapes and colors for visual interest
Plants were specifically selected to soften the hardscape elements without covering them completely
Low profile landscape lighting illuminates the custom cut flagstone steps and walkways.
1000lb + outcropping boulders contrast the large steel planters
